The Board of Directors has appointed Dr Dirk Schneider as CEO of Güdel Group AG, in addition to his role as CRO of Güdel Group AG. Schneider will also assume interim responsibilities, with immediate effect, for the operational management of the company until a permanent successor to Martin Sträb has been evaluated and appointed. Martin Sträb is leaving the Güdel Group on the 8 of January 2018. Mathias Hlubek and Harald Joos are also joining the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors of Güdel Group AG has appointed Dr Dirk Schneider as "Chairman of the Executive Management Board". Schneider (56) has been a member of the company's Executive Management Board since 1 October 2017, in his role as "Chief Restructuring Officer" (CRO). Schneider will assume interim responsibility for the operational business as CEO, whilst also moving ahead with the restructuring. Martin Sträb is leaving the firm by mutual agreement on the 8 of January 2018. The Board of Directors has set itself the goal of finding a permanent successor for its outgoing CEO swiftly.
New composition of the Board of Directors of Güdel Group AG
Mathias Hlubek and Harald Joos are the newly appointed members of the Board of Directors. During his professional career, Mathias Hlubek has been CFO of Deutsche Börse AG in Frankfurt. Harald Joos has been Head of the Güdel Group's "Restructuring Steering Committee" since September 2017. As of 1 January 2018, the Board of Directors is therefore composed as follows:
